From the Director's Chair Greetings, It is with great enthusiasm that I join the Redmond Learning Community and take the helm of the Redmond High School Theatre Arts Department. I bring with me a rich theatre background that I am eager to share with the students of Redmond High School. I am a 2001 graduate of Central Washington University. I have worked professionally as an actor, stage manager, choreographer, and director. This knowledge and experience has instilled in me a passion for theatre that I can only hope will rub off on my students. I anticipate great things to come to our stage this year as we mount productions of The Odd Couple, Oklahoma!, and Drama Fest 2007! All auditions are open to students in the Redmond Learning Community. Oklahoma auditions will take place on November 27 and 28 with call backs being held on November 29. Don't limit yourselves! Allow me to decide if you can sing and dance well enough to be in the production. Redmond Theatre Arts students will also be active this year in the Student Thespian Organization where they organize movie nights, Trick or Treat so Kids Can Eat, Round Up food booths, and many other fund raisers. The funds raised along with support from our Parent Booster club will go toward student participation in the state regional Monologue/Duo Festival, state conference in Bellingham, and the National Festival in Nebraska.
