Show Adjudication at State
At the Washington State Thespian Festival, troupes can perform a cutting of a play or musical or a full short show. The show can be teacher-directed or student-directed and is limited to 70 minutes. The shows are adjudicated. All participants receive feedback on their performance and cuttings that receive an Excellent or Superior rating are recognized at the Closing Ceremonies.

2014: Bang Bang, You’re Dead (directed by Lauren Pearsall) – Superior

2011: The Servant of Two Masters (directed by Misty Doty) – Superior
2010: Meeting Robert (written by Thomas Moore*, directed by Patrick Mulligan*) – Excellent
