Join us in supporting RHS Drama! RHS Drama Boosters is a non-profit volunteer organization of parents dedicated to supporting theatre arts at RHS, with the goal of making the program more accessible and meaningful for all students. Parents have a role to play, too!

Volunteers NEEDED

Every RHS show requires many supportive hands to make the magic happen. The families of every student involved in RHS Drama are expected to volunteer in some capacity for each show.

WHAT DO VOLUNTEERS DO?

RHS Drama Boosters has all kinds of tasks that need doing. Some involve spending time with students or with fellow Boosters. Some you can do from home at a time that fits your busy schedule. Creative tasks, administrative tasks… we have something for everyone! See a list of job descriptions.

Here is some of what our volunteers do:

Bake treats to sell at the concession stand
Sell tickets in the box office or check in ticket buyers at Will Call
Sell concessions and stargrams
Manage Sign-Up Genius (for day-of-show volunteers)
Coordinate parent order forms for shows
Handle t-shirt orders
Sew costumes
Coordinate Tech dinners
Host the cast/crew party for a show
Organize the food for Drama Banquet

Organize and participate in fundraising efforts
Sell advertisements to local businesses
Handle logistics for an event or field trip
Chaperone a trip to State or Ashland
Photograph our productions
Create our playbills
Create memory books for our graduating seniors
Serve on our Scholarship committee
Serve on the Booster board
Serve as a committee chair
