Middle School Actors' workshop (7th & 8th grade)
If you have a 7th or 8th grader – register here for our back-to-school camp. Camp is August 22 & 23 from 9 a.m.-noon. 25 middle schoolers will work with RHS drama veterans and director Garth Ball on teambuilding as a cast, monologue selection and performance, audition song selection and performance, and more. There will be group work as well as breakout opportunities for 1:1 coaching. Learn what to expect in an audition, how to study and learn lines, what to expect during rehearsals, and how to be prepared and the type of actor directors and other actors want to work with.
Fee: $40 (contact the Boosters if you need a scholarship)
RHS drama upperclassmen (juniors and seniors) who are interested in helping out at the middle school workshop should contact Mr. Ball and/or Emma Dorrain to volunteer.
